The Association of Zinfandel Advocates & Producers is a non-profit, educational organization. ZAP is dedicated to advancing public knowledge of and appreciation for American Zinfandel and its unique place in our culture and history. Winegrowers, winemakers and wine enthusiasts combine to form the membership. The common focus is the preservation and recognition of Zinfandel as America’s heritage wine.

ZAP is a very unusual organization, as you may have noticed in reading about the myriad of activities and members. Want to share in the excitement? By becoming a volunteer, you'll have the inside track on events and get to rub elbows (or tasting glasses) more frequently with winemakers and vineyardists as well as getting early entry into ZAP festivities. Contact the ZAP office to become a volunteer!

By joining ZAP you will receive a quarterly newsletter, chock full of events and background and Zinfandel lore. You'll know when new vintages will be released; you'll have the inside track on events such as the Annual Festival in San Francisco; you'll read the latest results on the continuing research at the Heritage Vineyard.
