Starlite Vineyards is a boutique family-owned wine estate located in Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley. The vineyards are nestled on a hilltop close to the Russian River where Proprietors, Arman and Rina Pahlavan, have created wines that are artful expressions of their lives.
Arman’s curiosity and drive stem from growing up as a young émigré in California with the dream of owning a winery. In concert with Rina’s grace and sensibilities, they have created wines that deliver vibrancy and elegance. Along with their two young sons, the family lives on the property and has built a sense of place that reflects the quality of their wines. The family has preserved the 1912 farmhouse, the Zinfandel vines that were initially planted on the property and the magical century old barn.
With support from their consulting wine maker, Merry Edwards, the Pahlavans began to upgrade the estate’s six acre vineyard and now produce outstanding Zinfandel and Viognier. Arman and Rina have been able to personally place at some of the most respected wine lists in top restaurants in New York, California, Los Angeles as well as Northern Europe.
The Pahlavan’s boutique wine estate and its romance exemplifies the desires of families’ throughout history cultivating the soil to achieve their dreams.
