The Stellenbosch terroir produces an interesting version of this grape variety, adding its unique terroir identity to the deep color and prominent fruity character. The 15 year old vineyards bear fruit for our cellarmaster to craft the finest wine with 80% new oak barrels. It is enticing with deep dark chocolate flavors on the nose, while smoked almonds, cloves and black cherries fill your mouth with a medley of intense dried- fruit flavors.
