Wild and brambly on the nose and deep purple in color the 2010 vintage seemingly screams
varietal Zinfandel from the glass. Luscious, juicy fruit flavors reminiscent of cherry pie filling, strawberry jam, and plum preserves are rounded out by spicy notes of cola and sarsaparilla.
Grounding earth accents tame the abundant fruit with suggestions of teriyaki and sandalwood making this wine a great partner to Asian cuisine. The supple, medium-bodied structure is enveloped in firm but refined tannins which will allow the wine to cellar for a couple of years.
