Our Mountain Cuvée blend changes with each vintage to fully capture the vineyard at its peak, and 2009 is no exception. Predominantly zinfandel with a dash of petite sirah, this wine opens with a wonderful nose of clove and spice balanced with an expressive signature of American oak. The pallet begins with bright red fruit and raspberry notes followed by a burly combination of chocolate and toast. The finish is smooth with a light tannic note that ensures a lingering presence on the palate.
