Volunteer for Zinfandel Experience 2016!
We are seeking cheerful, dependable volunteers for the 2016 Zinfandel Experience Thursday, February 25 - Saturday, February 27, 2016. Events take place at The Bently Reserve and Pier 27, both in San Francisco. Volunteers should be willing to work in a collaborative team environment and perform a variety of tasks.

How to apply: Complete the details below and click the Submit button. You will receive an automatic confirmation of your registration. Registration deadline is Monday, December 7.

Each volunteer must complete a separate registration and must use a unique email address. (If you share an email address with your spouse, email all details for the 2nd registrant to susie at zinfandel.org.)

By submitting your volunteer application you are confirming that you are 21 years of age or older and that you agree to use good judgment while performing your volunteer activities. You are also agreeing to not consume any alcohol before or during your shift and to hold the Zinfandel Advocates and Producers harmless for any injury that you may incur.

  • Table set up

  • Signage placement

  • Assist wineries and/or restaurants

    ZAP actively involves hundreds of wineries and thousands of advocates achieving a national and international understanding of Zinfandel as America’s Heritage Wine. Zinfandel Advocates & Producers is a non-profit, member-based, educational 501(c)(3) organization. ZAP’s mission is to advance public knowledge of and appreciation for American Zinfandel and its unique place in our culture and history. Winegrowers, winemakers and wine enthusiasts combine to form the membership. The common focus is the preservation and recognition of Zinfandel as America’s heritage wine. ZAP’s membership includes approximately 225 winery-members, 4,000 advocate members and 100 associate members.

    Some of you may recognize Susie, as she has been helping wine associations create awesome trade and consumer events for the last 10 years. She loves ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience and that volunteers enjoy contributing their time to make events a success.

    On a personal note; she performs & teaches improv, is a school volunteer and, like many ZAP members, loves to cook, travel & enjoy wine.
