Wine Tasting Tips |
ZAP events are non-smoking and fragrance-free.
Eat while attending this wine tasting. Your body will thank you for it.
Be courteous to others who wish to taste. Please step back from the tasting table to do your personal evaluation. Others can then step forward to receive a sample of the wine.
Step to the side to talk with the winemaker or winery representative.
Swirl the wine around in the glass.
Look at the color and smell the aromas.
Take a sip (small if swallowing, larger if spitting) and consider the flavors and the after taste. Empty your glass into the containers provided for the purpose, located on the tasting tables. Rinse your glasses with water before tasting the next wine. Drink water or eat bread at the time to clear your palate.
Ask questions and enjoy your conversations.
Be safe. Limit the amount you drink if you are driving.
Designate a driver or use public transportation. Thank you!
