A Limited number of trade tickets will be available at the door for qualified trade only. You may be charged $35 per ticket. Please be prepared to show business card and picture identification. Can I purchase tickets at the door?

Yes. There will be a limited number of tickets sold at the door starting at 11:00 a.m. for $55 each (no member discount).

What is it?

An extravaganza of over 300 wineries who will pour their 2001 Zinfandels, including barrel samples and new releases.

How do I find my favorite wineries?

California wineries are arranged in alphabetical order divided between the two buildings. See our list of winery participants.

Is the Tasting held in two buildings?

Yes, Herbst and Festival. Attendees will be allowed to enter either building at any time during the event. Spacious layout will allow elbow room to get to the tasting tables.

Will there be food?

Yes. When you enter you will receive your own loaf of bread. Tables are set throughout the pavilions with a variety of cheeses and other items to nibble. Water will be available at every tasting table. Bottled water is available courtesy of Sierra Springs.

How do I dress for the event?

Casual and informal, low/no heel comfortable shoes. The pavilion is drafty. Coat-check will be available for $1 per item.

Where can I purchase ZAP logo merchandise, ZAP blend, mixed cases and Heritage Wine?

Available for purchase at ZAP’s Marketplace in the Festival Pavilion will be the 2000 Heritage Wine (produced by Rod Berglund) mixed cases of ZAP members’ Zinfandels, caps, T-shirts, aprons and more.

Is there parking available?

Parking is limited. ZAP strongly encourages the use of public transportation! ZAP expects the Fort Mason Center parking lot to be full. Free parking is available in the Presidio at the Presidio Main Post at the intersection of Lincoln and Montgomery streets—just minutes from Fort Mason Center. It is most easily accessible through the following Presidio Gates: Marina (Marina Blvd. and Lyon St.); Lombard (Lombard and Lyon St.). Park at the Main Post parade ground, and take the free shuttle service to Fort Mason Center. Allow extra time to park.

How do I get there?

Fort Mason Center is located between Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge on San Francisco Bay. Click here for a map. Fort Mason Center offers easy access by MUNI and BART. Advance purchase ticket deadline:

January 21, 2003 or until sold out. All sales are final, no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. ZAP events are for adults only. We will not admit babies or pets. No one under 21 is allowed. No admission without your ZAP tickets. You will be asked to wear a wristband at the Saturday tasting.
