Participating Wineries and Restaurants

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

No. Tickets to this event are sold by advance purchase through the Fort Mason Box Office. No tickets are available through Rosenblum Cellars.

What is it?

36 wineries will pair Zinfandel with tasty treats from 36 Bay Area restaurant caterers.

How do I dress for the event?

Casual, informal. Low/no heels, comfortable shoes. Bring a jacket or sweater as it tends to be cool in the cellar.

Will there be tables to sit down?

There will be some tables, although not enough seating for everyone all the time.

Where can I park?

Parking is free in front of the winery.

How do I get there?

There is a Ferry from Pier 41 and the Ferry Building in San Francisco. It is scheduled to leave at 5:20 p.m. and will arrive at Alameda (literally at the door-step of Rosenblum Cellars) at 5:40 p.m. From Alameda it leaves at 8:40 p.m. and arrives in S.F. at 9:20 p.m. See www.eastbayferry.com.

Driving Instructions:

From S.F. or North Richmond/San Rafael Bridge: Take Hwy 80 towards SF, stay in left lanes.

San Francisco: Go across Bay Bridge.

Both: Exit: 880 South/San Jose. Take Broad-way/Alameda exit. Right at signal on 5th, stay in left lane to the Alameda/ Webster tube. Follow Alameda directions.

From East: (Concord, etc). Take 24 to Oakland (980/880). Exit at 11th/12th Street, go straight off exit. Turn left on 5th Street (after overpass), stay in left lane, through the Alameda tube. Follow Alameda directions.

From South Bay: Go North on 880 to Broadway exit (downtown Oakland). Turn right on Broadway, then right again immediately at first light (7th). Proceed straight-ahead two blocks to Webster St. Turn right on Webster into Alameda tube. Follow Alameda directions.

Alameda: Once through Webster tube, turn right at the first signal (Atlantic), turn right at the fourth signal (Main Street). Rosenblum is 1/2 mile up on the right, before the Ferry building. The building is cream colored, with a saw-tooth looking roof. Entrance is on the west end near the redwood deck.

Exiting Alameda: Left out of the winery. Left on Atlantic. Left on Webster. Go through the Tube. Right on 7th St. To San Francisco: Right on Jackson, right onto freeway. To San Jose: Right on Madison, left on 5th onto freeway. Important: The Alameda/ Posey Tube is closed Sun.-Thurs., 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
